New Wage Rates Are Now in Effect!

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) annually determines and communicates the annual inflation-adjusted minimum wage.

For this year, the hourly wage rate will be $8.00 per hour, up from $7.78 that applied during 2013.  For tipped employees (typically those employed in food service), the wage rate increases to $4.98, up from $4.76 for 2013.  Tips are considered to make up the difference, up to $3.02 per hour.
